I've found all of Haidt's TED Talks absolutely fascinating. His first, linked below, was in 2008 and it opens with a Gore vs. Bush question that could have been asked in 2016.
I had been wondering lately why Jordan Peterson was so controversial, but I was too lazy to look it up. Now I know.
