On Friday, 02/02/2018, the DJIA dropped 666 points.

In addition to the obvious 666, 02/02/2018 was the 33rd day of the calendar year. 33 is the majic number of Freemasonry.

02/02 is 22, which reduces to 11. Taking the last 2 digits of the year, we get 9.

So the date is 11/9, or 9/11 (backward/forward, as above as below).
