I certainly would, she has run an incredibly - successful business Posted: Jan 8th, 2018 - 8:24 am In Reply to: Would you vote for Oprah for president? - I would
Has shown her compassion endless times, has grown up in very humble beginnings, and, most importantly, she would undoubtedly put very good people in the cabinet and government positions to guide our future as a nation in every way.
For example, I imagine Oprah might put someone in as head of the EPA who wants to save and preserve the environment, not scoff at climate change and encourage fracking, drilling, etc., of every available acre of national park and ocean.
I imagine Oprah might put someone in as head of Education who actually believes in public education, not in destroying it.
She is capable of learning, and communicating, and not just thinking she knows it all. There must be so much to learn for anyone entering public office, especially the highest office in the land.
Trump's inability and/or unwillingness to learn anything or be advised by anyone but his family and a few toadies, well, that is quite possibly the most dangerous and disappointing element of his presidency.
If no one from the political spectrum emerges, if we must have a celebrity (and Trump is certainly that) then she would be the best possible.
