Health Issues

Some possibilities... - Jennifer

I know that people who show early symptoms of dementia can have a B12 deficiency. She should have her B12 level checked.

The other thought is that perhaps she needs a different antidepressant. Has she been ok before on the current medication regimen? Does she have clinical depression (needing meds always) or is it situational (only needing an antidepressant temporarily?)

Your friend really is luck to have you watching over her like this. Perhaps you can accompany her to her next MD visit and ask some questions. The antidepressants are probably prescribed by the psychiatrist and I'm not sure if you could get permission to accompany her to a visit, or at least the first part of it to ask questions regarding her medications.

I'm hoping for the best for you and your friend.
