It's on Wikipedia under List of United States hurricanes.

1870 to 1919: 102 hurricanes
1920 to 1969: 91 hurricanes
1970 to today: 72 hurricanes

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_hurricanes#Climatological_statistics

There are limitations to this data. We've only had satellites since the 1960s so any hurricanes prior to that which formed in the ocean and stayed in the ocean would not have been recorded prior to that time. That lack of data will skew the numbers in favor of more hurricanes in recent years. This data includes hurricanes that were measured by people, not based on estimates.

If GLOBAL climate change is true we should see an increase in hurricanes affecting the US. We don't.

If you're interested in details and strengths this page has a chronological list, through 2016:
http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/hrd/hurdat/All_U.S._Hurricanes.html

You can count down through the data and you'll see that the number of Category 3 and 4 hurricanes also decreases through the years.
