I do work and pay taxes. I'm not sure what the video has to do with fixing corruption.
But since you point out the taxes, I don't think a tax cut is going to fix anything, especially a 14% tax cut to corporations. We have been discussing this for a while now and it seems everybody has a different opinion on that. I don't think it is going to help with the stagnant wages in this country or create the significant amount of good paying jobs that some people think it will.
What did you think of the CBS story about how charities will be taking a hit with this plan because most people will take the standard deduction so no deduction for charities unless you itemize? I think they should have made sure charitable donations were still allowed to be deducted.
I think the budget needs to have big money towards infrastructure which will not only create many, many jobs but will help both rich and poor get around without fearing for their lives by having bridges crumble under them.
Those are some of the things I would like to see, but it still doesn't address the corruption of our politicians. I think that is beyond repair.
