As long as people will sign up to work for them, they will try to get workers for nothing. If no workers, they would have to change their pay in order to stay in business. I quit transcribing on line years ago, 2 years now. I kept calling around and asking and low and behold, I am transcribing for a doctor at his main office.
Since it is paper heavy, I work for an hourly rate. I refused to take a line rate when there is so much paperwork. I love going to work. I work part-time, no weekends and all holidays. I know how lucky I am. Good luck all!
