The Reagan years were a welcome relief for my family after the Carter idiocy almost bankrupted us! NOBODY could afford to buy a home under Carter sky-high interest rates.
Not to mention the GAS LINES (NO GAS available!) and the asinine thermostat control program (78-degree temp BS for thermostats in public buildings). In Louisiana, where the relative humidity is 98% with 100-degree temps; I don't think so!
Carter destroyed this nation which is why he was defeated for re-election in a HISTORIC landslide.
