for hardworking low income people. Has nothing to do with significant other's earning or deductions. This is earned income credit in her name only, pure and simple. I don't track her, she freely discusses this "windfall" she looks forward to each year. Oh, and the $800 in food stamps also for her and 3 kids. It is based on her "low income." If they were to marry, she would not qualify for this as earned income credit is based on income as far as who qualifies.
