This was voted for on an overwhelming bipartisan basis in 1995 and confirmed several years later by a UNANIMOUS vote of the Senate. However, for years our Presidents have not done so, citing that it would "mess up the peace process." Well, how much progress in the peace process has there been in ALL THAT TIME??

HUH?? HUH?? Yeah, that's how much. NONE.

The entire government of Israel is situated in Jerusalem, and Israel has as much right to designate their own national capital AS WE DO. Do yuh think, huh??

You haters gotta hate, even when it makes you look silly doing so. Trump is doing precisely the right thing, and if Hamas doesn't like it, they've always been the main obstacle to peace in the Middle East anyway, so there's absolutely no reason to give a snap because it hasn't made a fig's worth of difference in terms of Middle East peace when our cowardly presidents were too scared by Palestinian threats to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

Haters gotta hate, and I gotta tell ya, honey, hate just isn't flattering on you. I'd go back in the dressing room and try on something else...like, oh, maybe objective thinking. That would look better.
