Just go to your local county's sheriff's office website, and there is usually a tab for sex offenders. Ours gives the offenders address, and there was one right in our neighborhood, and others within 2 miles in an apartment complex.
It can be confusing sex offender vs child molester vs sex predator. You would have to look up the codes to be sure what the offense is.
