They won't admit it because they don't believe it. Interesting little article in The Week this week. To paraphrase - millions are demonizing the mainstream media and getting all their information from conspiracy web sites, fake news sources, anonymous blogs. Pretty soon there will be a whole generation of Americans who believe this garbage (my word). I think we have them now.
