Clinton was impeached in the House, but acquitted in the Senate. All 45 Senate Democrats voted Not Guilty. A number of Republicans voted Not Guilty on one or both counts.

The Russian investigation you cite is an excellent example of Republicans policing themselves. Trump's justice department assigned a special counsel. Congress, both houses with a current Republican majority, are investigating.

Administration fans will always look the other way. However, the examples in your post prove that Republicans in power are not looking away. They're investigating Trump.

Donna Brazile is another example of someone who looked the other way. She admits it in her new book. She says she discovered a cancer when she took over at the DNC but wasn't willing to kill the patient by going public at the time.

Do you think Sebelius and Brazile would have spoken out if Hilary had won? I don't.
