Xmas Gift to Myself - LoveIt

Posted: Nov 22nd, 2017 - 3:39 pm

This year I splurged and bought myself something I've always wanted.  I researched all over to find just the right design.

I love to work jigsaw puzzles, especially the larger one (thousands of pieces).  But, they require a dedicated flat surface (usually a table), and that is inconvenient.  A larger puzzle on a large table requires craning your neck, resulting in aching necks and shoulders -- or walking around to the other side or use of a Lazy Susan.  Plus, as a cat owner I aways got unwanted "help" and stray pieces would wind up in someone's mouth!

I bought this dedicated jigsaw table.  It is on casters so rolls, and the angle is adjustable.  The top has a ridge in front to hold a board.  The accompanying boards are felt-covered and available in several sizes (I got the largest).  Also included is a flat cover so you can cover your puzzle in progress.  Of course, the board is removable.

The table top can be adjusted to lie flat so you can use this as a TV-tray-type table or employ it for other uses.  This is ideal for me because I live in a small space (1-BR apartment).

I've already assembled this (had some difficulty though, LOL) and find it to be a quality item overall.  (The company is in the UK.)  My only complaint is a minor one -- the screws are not of the highest quality as one began to "strip" as I tighened it.  I find that a lot these days, though, as China is manufacturing more and more stuff.

No, I do not work for this UK company or have any affilitation with it.  :)
