They do it for the same reason a dog licks himself: because they can. They've been doing it forever and were never penalized for their actions. They knew that either the women wouldn't complain because they feared for their jobs or, if they did complain, they wouldn't be believed. Either way, these guys got away with it. It's only the incredible number of complaints lately that have made anyone take notice, and that won't last for long. The pendulum will quickly swing back the other way after a few token people have been punished, and we'll be back to the same crappy old status quo all too soon.
