Those networks neglecting to report an obvious bombshell allegation from someone who was in the know demonstrates a fear that the facts will undermine their agenda. The story is out there, and people can easily access it. When a NEWS organization blatantly ignores something like this, people perceive that as an intentional failure to be objective. It is proof that they are biased and untrustworthy. It only serves to make people regard all their reporting as dubious.
