Cures have come leaps and bounds. There are many cancers that, due to early detection (government programs promoting early detection) and the advances of science, are very curable, at the very least for 3 to 5 times the number of years survival of 15 years ago.
Please, gawd, tell me you don't think the churches should handle this "charity" too. Makes me puke every time one of conservatives says that social programs should just be handled privately. I guess you still think the Republicans giving all the breaks to the 1% that they are going to make sure we don't die....lol.lolololol...only if there is something in it for them.
