DNC Chair Tom Perez just purged high-ranking Bernie and Keith Ellison supporters from key party positions.
* Ray Buckley, NH party chairman who backed Keith Ellison was removed from the Executive and Rules Committees.
* James Zogby, a prominent Bernie endorser and Ellison backer, was removed after serving on the Exec Committee for 16 years!
* Alice Germond, a vocal Ellison backer and progressive, was removed as a delegate.
* Barbra Caspar Siperstein, who supported Ellison, was kicked off the Exec Committee.
Guess who they swapped in... major Clinton supporters. The DNC just doesn’t get it. Even after losing more than 1,000 seats nationwide and Trump winning the White House the DNC is doubling down on failed strategies. That’s why the establishment crew is purging progressive party reformers. Team Perez wants a Republican Lite party, and they won’t stop at anything to shut progressives out. We aren’t sitting on the sidelines.
