The players are in a bad spot, and it’s entirely of their own making. If they want to play politics, fine, but they are entertainers and now becoming activists. Who wants to see that while being entertained? Now, if they stand they look like idiots. If they remain kneeling, they alienate fans.

After 35 years of watching NFL games, we have managed to survive six weeks without tuning in. We are officially cured and are enjoying our NFL-free life.
