I wouldn't be able to turn him away. We had 2 feral cats that passed through our yard and I fed them for 2 years before we moved. Right before we moved, the yellow tiger cat would let me pet him. I left his picture, a letter about him and a bag of cat food for the new owner. It broke my heart to leave him, but he was not been tame enough to make the trip.
