That's why you can't do all the things you want to do. You need to amend the Constitution, then you can have your way. Until then, nothing will change.

How would driving change if it was a right guaranteed by the Constitution? You wouldn't be able to deny drunks, blind, and seizure-prone people from getting licenses.

Read the Constitution. Read the relevant case law. All of your questions and frustration are answered there.

That's also why all gun law changes and restrictions ALWAYS fall short of changing anything. Your frustration isn't with Congress or a party, it's with the Constitution.
