The talking points from the right seem to be - just ripping single payer

Which is just a straw man argument anyway. Like that would ever happen in this country.

Much more convenient and easier than actually defending the new monstrosity that is Graham-Cassidy. That way they get to throw in a lot of Obama and Hillary hate buzz words and not have to explain what their solution is.

This includes everyone on the right, even the jokers who "wrote" the bill. I'm guessing they just got a template from Koch Bros/ALEC and did their bidding. They don't seem to have a clue about how it would affect everyday people and they don't seem to really care.

This stinker of a bill has opposition from many patient and provider groups, including American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, American Lung Association, Arthritis Foundation, etc., and also has been widely slammed by insurance companies.

Now usually, I am not that interested in what insurance companies have to say, but in this case I think it indicates that absolutely no one wants this thing.

Interestingly, from AHIP, America's Health Insurance Plans, the following is of interest:

"...The AHIP doubled down on those sentiments, writing that the bill "would have real consequences on consumers and patients by further destabilizing the individual market" and could "potentially allowing government-controlled, single payer health care to grow," in a letter to Senate majority and minority leaders Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.)."

Now there's that single payer theme again, except this time it is attributed to Graham-Cassidy, NOT whatever it is Bernie Sanders is pushing. Go figure.
