The Republicans have been moaning about the ACA for years, they have voted to repeal it many times.
Yet when they control all 3 branches of govt they just keep trying to sneak these nasties in without any scrutiny or debate or even CBO scoring, and apparently they just put real legislating into the too hard basket for some reason.
They would rather just sneak another nasty anti-healthcare bill through so they can get their $400 million payoff from the Koch Bros who have demanded this be done. Ain't Citizens United great? They don't even have to hide it anymore, the quid pro quo.
Honestly, I don't care about any other country's health care except to the extent that almost every country seems to have a better one than us (except if you are rich of course), and I certainly DON'T think that if we don't get one of these horrible Republican nasty bills that's the only alternative to the dreaded "socialism." Is that what you're implying? Why not say that?
I guess no one on the right wants to defend these horrible bills the R's keep coming up with because they are not about health care at all, just about how to take money out of health care.
Jimmy Kimmel is not impressed (watch below). Neither am I.
