The problem is complacency and acceptance. I am certain it is easier to not care or consider Christopher Columbus' actions as an explorer. I would suggest that we need to be open to reevaluation of his accomplishments and the facts that are known by scholars today that he enslaved and treated indigenous people as animals.

This is a common theme. It is and will be disruptive to our psyches. People we were taught did wonderful things are being shown to have done them at high costs to others, others they had no right to treat as such.

WHEN WILL IT END? Perhaps when people realize the truth
