This reminds me of stories by my mother-in-law of how it was living in a work camp in Nazi Germany after she was taken from Yugoslavia during the war, seeing people hanged in the courtyard on her way to school, all the violence and hate, the propoganda, spread in the same way (of course now we have the internet god). America is so young and has such a long way to go...but it is not the America she came to for refuge.
