Needing some prayers and positive thoughts

I lost my job back in May, when I was making REALLY good money due to my boss being killed in a car accident and the family not wanting to take on dealing with her company.  I started working for a national and right now, not making the money that I was used to with the other MTSO.  As a resuilt, I  fell behind on my rent and during this period of time, (was asked to renew my lease, but with all the stress, it slipped my mind).  My lease was up at the end of July and 2 weeks ago, I was asked to move out by this coming weekend (8/22/10).  I am still struggling with the new company and having to deal with VR, but the one thing I do have in my favor, is that I am the widow of retired militiary (the VA goofed up on his diagnosis and said that his cancer was not due to Agent Orange exposure).  To make a long story short, I found out that I can get rental assistance, plus assistance wtih my moving costs, etc., through the Red Cross.  I found an absolutely beautiful place today with more amenities and better location etc and for the same amount of money.

I would greatly appreciate any and all prayers that I will be able to get the money together for this move.  I can afford the rent, but just do not have the money together for the move which is 1st and last months rent, credit check fee and the cost of having someone move me.  I am older and have a slight handicap, so getting a U-Haul is out of the question.   Also, really don't have a lot of friends and no family in the area, so that is a tough situation as well.

Again, God does work in mysterious ways and I am hoping that my prayers will be answered.
