Just had my monthly Beck dose. He was agreeing that conservatives were creative and growers while progressives (communists, really, he said) are oppressing all the poor people!!!! Beck has got some money-making scheme where his loyal followers can go to a movie theatre and watch his LATEST installment of redemption via the Christmas sweater book he is milking for all its worth. In the preview, he looks just like an evangelist standing there in the spotlight.

The interviewee mentioned using the Saul Alinsky methods to fight progressives . . . what a waste of oxygen. Sorry - Ive got to go order my gold and my special water softener.

I saw bits and pieces. I'm not into that sweater thing (kind of makes me gag) LOL., but if you call it a money-making scheme, well then guess you have to include all the Hollywood movie makers of all those movies (every movie ever made), and all people who write books/novels, because that is what they are doing - making money. He is the same as every other person who has written a book whether it be conservative or liberal. They push their book because they want it to sell. That is the whole reason why they write - to sell their book. Same with Hillary Clinton, Obama, everyone.

Sounds like Beck really got to you. You just learn to either watch or don't watch. It's all a personal choice.

I did listen to his guest David Horowitz (grew up with parents members of the communist party). He knows what communism is. I've listened to him interviewed before and he's knowledgeable in what he speaks about. But if you absolutely love the crooks in congress and everything they are doing to screw the American people, then yes you wouldn't like David Horowitz.

I'll tell you one thing....if it wasn't for Beck, America would not know what the current regime is doing to the country (guess that's why a lot of people don't like him, they want the country to be drugged out on the Kool-Aid). A lot of people are thanking Beck for bringing us news of what is happening to our country. Now we just need to see some action and people held accountable for what they are doing.

As far as the red sweater thing goes, he wrote a book. Now if he sincerely wanted to expand on his theme in his supposed altruistic motivation he could use his television program. But no. He makes it a profit opportunity by making people PAY to go to a theatre to view a telecast about something they already read. Second point. Beck does not inform people about what is happening in this country. He takes a fact here, a supposition there and weaves it together into a crazy conspiracy or something totally unrecognizable and feeds it to the dullards who can't think logically. If you enjoy being led by a fool, so be it. Your choice.

Do you feel the same way about Olberman or Chris Matthews or Ed Schultz over there on MSNBC? Or are they perfectly normal in your mind? Their fans felt it was great "shining the light on the Bush administration," but suddenly, now that it's their guy, they don't like it so much. So predictable!

Are they perfectly normal? Yes. They are left-leaning but came to be that way by education, experience and thought (not knee jerk). Their shining the light on the Bush admin did not include actively promoting antigovt rallies, whispering untruths, agitating racists or telling people to buy gold and rifles because the country was going to collapse. Instead of using those tactics, Olb put the spotlight on the travesty of our health care system by funding free health care clinics (constructive action). If you don't recognize the difference in the actions of the two groups you should just climb back into your hidey-hole and read your smaltzy beck books.
