Why you can't trust Wikipedia

http://twitchy.com/2012/08/29/sick-wikipedia-entry-calls-mia-love-dirty-worthless-whore-and-house-nigger/ To be fair, the offending entries have been edited out by now, but the format of the site makes it possible for anyone and everyone to editorialize anything as fact. ;

No single source should be trusted without verification, but - numerous studies have shown Wikipedia is pretty

reliable overall. Surprisingly so. Individual stories, tho--they can be changed at any time, with inevitable delay before they're audited for correctness.

But never fear. Whenever I quote Wikipedia

(coincidentally, like below when I explained that "The Sullivan Group" giving Rush Limbaugh a 99.5 truthfulness rating is actually just a friend of Rush's named Tom, a fellow conservative radio show guy)

I always check the information on other sources chosen for their reputation for reliability.

(BTW, Rush's buddy Tom's anything but a secret, so that referencing his "audit" just shows someone didn't do his or her homework.)

That's awful! - sm

How Do You Trust Your Partner Again, When The TrustOct 19, 2013
Have any of you been able to repair the trust in a relationship when it's been broken quite badly?   Able to repair the relationship itself?   That's my main question and I'd like to hear how others handled it. Details of your own personal 'mess' are not what I care to hear, but how you repaired things. I want my best friend back and the trust we had.  I don't want to have to go through legalities now or down the road.  I still love h ...

Just Trust Me ...... SmSep 10, 2012
In separate interviews Sunday, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan refused to identify which tax loopholes they would close in order to pay for their large tax cuts.On NBC’s “Meet The Press,” Romney dodged multiple questions about which deductions or credits he’d target, saying only that he’ll get rid of “some of the loopholes and deductions at the high end” while seeking to “lower the burden on middle income people.”Pressed for one specific example, Romney replied, “Well, the specific ...

I've noticed his facebook messaging habits have changed the past month.  I'll get up in the morning and notice that he was online at like 3 in the morning.  He'll tell me he fell asleep and thats why he didnt answer my messages, but they wi ...

Hello, I just need prayer to increase my faith as I continue to job search in 2010.  I finished my program in early October and have been job searching since that time.  As each month comes and we fall further behind in our bills I am continuing on trying to focus on God and his faithfulness to every situation. What Happens When You Can't Trust The FBI Or Dept. Of Justice?Sep 24, 2016
In a stunning Friday (isn't it always?) revelation, we found out that yet another key figure from Hillary Clinton's "rat pack" -- her former chief-of-staff Cheryl Mills - was given immunity in the email server investigation. As Ed Morrissey points out, that makes "at least five" -- who knows how many there really are -- who have received this treatment. So far that's techies Bryan Pagliano and Paul Combetta (more of him in a moment), John Bentel of the Office of Information Re ...

Do You Trust The Supreme CourtMar 26, 2012
Before the decision even comes down from the Supreme Court on Obama's health care law I have to admit I have no confidence in them. It's all political. Giving the election to bush over Gore and allowing corporations to fund elections makes me think the court is not bipartisan. When the highest court in the land is partisan I have no hope. I feel sad for our country. Do you trust them? ...

Even George Washington Didn't Trust The Federal Govt....Apr 14, 2010

More And More Voters Don't Trust Hillary Clinton And It's Doing Some Major DamageApr 09, 2015
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's expected presidential campaign got some bad news in a new set of Quinnipiac University polls released Thursday. Quinnipiac surveyed three crucial swing states — Colorado, Iowa, and Virginia — and found Clinton's lead slipping against her possible Republican rivals. Peter Brown, assistant director of the polling outfit, said the shift is because voters increasingly see Clinton as a dishonest candidate. "Clinton's lead is wilting ...
