What happened to the End of Offshoring Act?

There is no greater contempt for Americans than to offshore our jobs to China and India, and then award these companies who do it with big government contracts paid by the American taxpayers. What happened to the NAFTA renegotiations? What happened to the 35% penalties promised? Over 60 executive orders signed during the first 100 days and Trump has the power to do this, but does not. What gives? He campaigned on this promise. Is this another campaign promise that Congress allowed him to win the election with but then would not back it?

He's not going to penalize anybody because it would affect his companies and his daughter's company. In fact, he's going to lower taxes on companies. He's also changing only the visa things that don't affect him bringing in foreigners.

Oh yea, he also promised he was going to turn his business over to his sons and stay out of it. Well, we all know how that one is going. Now his sons are doing business with foreign countries and we are footing the bill to protect them.

The thing that really amazes me is he is doing so many unethical things and nobody on the right seems to care.

to accomplish everything he wanted to accomplish in the first 100 days because of the obstructionism from the democrats as well as their obsession with Russian collusion. I don't know how many people are going to have to say there is no collusion before they will get off this charade and concentrate on what the people elected them to do.

I would hesitate to accuse Donald Trump personally of being in collusion with Putin. Not showing his taxes did not help his denial of that and that's okay. If he is not guilty of anything he should not be worried about an investigation, rather would welcome it to end Democrat's "obsession."

As for meddling in our election, I am not sure that can be denied. Senate Republicans and Democrats reached agreement late Monday on a new package of sanctions on Russia over their meddling in the presidential election and investigations into Moscow's possible collusion with members of President Donald Trump's campaign (yet to be proven as far as I am concerned).

Top lawmakers on two committees -- Banking and Foreign Relations -- announced the deal, which would require a congressional review if Trump attempts to ease or end current penalties. And isn't that just what this country needs, another congressional investigation.

This article explains how it is not just offshoring that is detrimental to our jobs. Outsourcing jobs within the US is becoming increasingly common and leads to lower wages and fewer people with benefits. Maybe he really meant more robots will have jobs. Otherwise, most of the companies that use people for labor are taking their jobs to India and China, which by the way includes Trump and Ivanka.
