"We will find those responsible and hold them accountable."

We'll see.., Barry, we'll see.  At least you didn't call it workplace violence.

;

at least he didn't call them "folks" - a la Bush 911

Why do you always resort to discussing Bush - Who cares what Bush said

[ In Reply To ..]
I don't get this mentality that when someone discusses something happening in this time period, posters feel the need to post, well Bush said this or that or Bush did this or that, Bush's paintings suck, Bush went on vacation so much, Bush had a BBQ, Bush got shoes thrown at him, Bush did this, wore this, said this, walked this way, bent this way turned this way, Bush read this way, spoke this way, Bush, Bush, Bush, Bush. Sick of hearing about Bush. He's gone, get over it. How bout addressing issues happening now without dragging Bush's name into it. I try and forget him like a bad dream, but it gets really hard (and annoying) when posters here always have to bring him up for stuff his name should not even come up about.

Please give it a rest and let us live in peace without hearing about him all the time.

Bush - out of sight, out of mind.

It's not just the poster to whom you are responding - I do too because

[ In Reply To ..]
The original post was not intended for discussion. It was a cheap shot and not even politically oriented.

Yes, I will use any opportunity to reciprocate with a Bush comparison if a post is a drive-by only meant to incite.
Then what you are saying is - Who cares what Bush said
[ In Reply To ..]
Anytime anyone wants to say anything in disagreement with, an observation, or whatever that doesn't boast remarks that are positive towards Obama you are going to resort to the childish "well Bush did...."

Her post was not a cheap shot. Obama said the same thing at both incidents. It was not a drive-by. It was an observation a poster made. Not all posts need a novel size body. I post many posts that are observations, but don't need me to write a Novella about my observation.

So what you are saying is whenever anyone posts a negative comment about this administration or Obama you will resort to the childish antics of "well Bush did this...waaaaaaaaa"

Thanks for clarifying.

to at least know why their sons and daughters died... Because the Bush Administration contrived a senseless war for personal gain. And it has been proven.

I wonder if it makes those families and loved ones feel better to know why.

1. The "Chrissy Tingles" nickname for Chris Matthews after his leg tingle comment after the president's election in 2008 is still funny. I admit that it was kinda humorous for a few minutes back then, but there's nothing more irritating, IMO, than folks who don't know when a joke is stale. It's no longer funny, but some do not realize that.
2. Liberals (or anyone really for that matter) are die hard CM fans. I personally do not know ANYONE who watches CM, so the dig that they're trying to get in (tit-for-tat MSNBC insult (like we're tuned in constantly or something) for any comments whatsoever about Fox, Brietbart, or whatever RW "news" source) to make them feel better about the world just comes across as desperate.

Anyhow, that's who Chrissy Tingles is... Chris Matthews. They also call him Tweety. Isn't that hilarious!?!? :D....ummm....more like :/

but I'm disheartened that while the majority of people were immediately horrified by the bombing, the tragedy of people with limbs blown off, the fear that all the others in attendance must have experienced, and yet someone actually seized on this tragedy as an opportunity to come on this board to take yet another shot at the President of the United States. Seems to me almost a pathologic hatred.

you don't agree with politically are "hateful".

When 911 happened President Bush was criticized literally within seconds, along with other incidents that President Bush was criticized for.

Nobody "seized" anything. A poster was making an observation. And a good one at that.

I think the people who have it out for people that don't swoon and drool over every move Obama makes is what you call pathologic hatred.

What was the good observation? - no msg

[ In Reply To ..]
that you should invoke Bush's name as a defense for the post in question. It must be only "LIBS" who are chastized for mentioning his name on this board. Oh, BTW, no one critized Bush for 911 within "literally seconds." Most people were too horrified for Bush to cross their minds in "literally seconds."

My response to the poster had nothing to do with whether I agree with him/her politically, just the fact that the poster seized the opportunity to criticize Mr. Obama with no expression of sympathy or compassion for the victims of the bombing. You didn't say what you did get from the post. Please expand on your observation.

FYI, I'm too old to exert any time or energy on hating people or things and feel sorry for those who do. It does nothing to enrich their lives, even if it does transiently make them feel good.
