We have to stop calling the Republican Party

Posted: Sep 24, 2012

a political party...they're not.

They're a cult. Facts and reality do not matter to these people. They've morphed what was once a political party and blended it with some distortion of Christianity where they support policies that are complete contradictions of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

They've convinced millions that the best way to achieve economic prosperity is through facilitating more power and wealth towards the greedy at the expense of everyone else. They've made people believe the best way to worship someone who stood for compassion and love is through fear and hate.

Logic, facts, reality, stats, math, science, history....none of it matters to these people.

They believe themselves to follow Christ... yet ignore everything of which he stood.

They believe their party is the party for fiscal responsibility...though they continue to massively grow our national debt anytime they're in the White House.

They believe they're for the party of small government...while advocating government control over a woman's body and what defines a marriage.

To call them irrational and dangerous would be an insult to dangerous irrationality.

Our best hope is to fight longer, push harder and never give up. Never allow apathy to overtake our movement. Always come together to push forward towards progress as a nation.

You can have your opinion about the Republican party and someone else will respond and say that the Democratic party is a cult and that's their right.

Free speech, baby. Love it.

I do love it - vf

[ In Reply To ..]
and I am practicing free speech here. Likewise, you can have your opinion about President Obama and someone else will say Romney is a clown and that's their right.

And, it looks as though the country is pretty - much split as to who

[ In Reply To ..]
is involved with which "cult".
I think it's going to take longer than 2 years for - regular republicans SM

to realize what is happening to their party (since 2010). It has been overtaken by the extreme right and it is just beginning to be realized. If and when they are in power again and this extreme right is still in charge, more and more moderate conservatives are going to realize they do not have the same believes as the extremists who are running the party right now once it starts impacting their lives in a negative way. JMO.
I don't think - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
The democrat party will ever realize it has been overtaken by the extreme left. So, the conservative party has some Neocons in it (not everyone in the republican party is a Neocon) and the democrats have the communits/nazi's in it (again not everyone). The communists are taking over the party. It's no longer the party of the Kennedy's. Long gone are the moderate democrats. Now it's just overrun and either 1, they will never see or or 2, they do see it and will never admit it.

We need to have a balance in power. So take your pick far right or far left, right wingers left wingers, Neocons or Communits/Nazis. A lot of people suffer under democrat rule and their lives are iimpacted in a negative way. Middle income have done well under republicans and that is where I'm at.

No we don't - sm

and we don't have to believe your stereotyped generalities. But you're free to say them.

I wonder why some of you - vf

feel you have to remind me of my right to say what I believe. LOL Isn't it clear that I know that already?

You actually believe your own post? Geez, what - a bunch of distorted mess. nm

Okay, you don't affiliate with the republican party - so obvious. I see too many posters to quick to demonize the other party, when all their doing is flapping their gums. No substance, no fact.

If you want to say a party is a cult then you include all parties. I guess that's true to a certain extent as in the people like you who affiliate with the democrat party belong to a cult, and your words are definitely cultish.

If you want to start labeling look no farther than your own party. Facts don't matter to democrats. If they can distort and lie and brainwash enough people they've done their job. The communists have manipulated and distorted that party so much it is unrecognizable as a democrat party.

The republican party has not distorted Christianity, but if you are going to go down that road you could say the same about the democrat party, except there are probably more communists and atheists associated with that party. I also find it pretty amusing the one who want to say certain things go against the teachings of Jesus Christ are the ones who have no idea what his teachings was. But if you want to have a religious discussion about Jesus Christ and his teachings TAKE IT TO THE FAITH BOARD.

I do find it amusing too that atheist who never cared about religion are now so concerned about religion because they want Obummer to stay in.

Maybe you should learn what the Republican stands for before spreading lies. This is what happens when you get your brainwashing from MSNBC and don't bother to do any research on your own. It comes out sounding, oh how shall I say it, uninformed.

The Democrat party is now called the Party of fear and hate for good reason. Just read your post.

So since you are not interesting in researching anything for yourself, here, I'll give you a lesson.

Republicans are for being fiscally conservative. For balancing a budget. Heck, for even having a budget. They are for the small business person. They understand that people need to be responsible. They understand that we need to work and WANT to work. They don't believe that every citizen should be dependent on government for hand outs. There is a lot more, but then again you are not interested in know what they are for.

Logic, facts, reality, stats, math, science history...none of it matters to liberals. You can argue the facts in front of their face, show them proof in black and white. Nope, they don't care. They'd rather stick their head back in the sand.

You don't know if someone follows Christ, and yet your entire post goes against what Christ stood for. You prove you are the farthest from His teachings.

Oooh yeah, here's a news flash for ya, democrats continue to massively grow our national debt anytime they are in they are in the WH.

Democrats ARE irrational and dangerous period.

Our best hope is to wake up the people from the Matrix. Never allow fear and hate over take their ability to think clearly and see the facts. Be honest with the people. Stop treating them the way the democrats to, stating to their faces how stupid they are. Americans are not stupid. Americans are not as stupid as you hope they are. The country is waking up to the lies, broken promises, fear and hate mongering.

But hey, your free to speak your mind. That's what I fought for, for people to speak their mind no matter how uninformed, misguided, hate filled or packed with lies it is. Because that is the country we live in. At least conservatives understand that.

November can't come soon enough.

No need to feel sorry. I'm pretty happy that... - sm

I don't belong the the party of fear and hate. That I'm not so hateful and igee that I post garbage like the OP. At least I don't spout off as though I know Jesus and then in the sentence write hate. Since this is not the faith board not even going to get into how farthest from Jesus teachings what she wrote is. We can take that discussion to the faith board.

I'm pretty happy that I don't sit and watch MSNBC all day and get my talking points from them to the point of writing anything that would look ignorant.

I'm pretty happy that I can stand back and see that there is wrong in all parties and there is good in all parties. Right now there is more good in the republican party. Just read all the posts here.

I'm proud that I served in the finest military for the best country. That I can sit back and while I read words of total bull**** I also know that because of what I did a person has the right to spout off no matter how hateful, stupid or ignorant they sound (and that means anyone). Just like those who explain how wrong they are have that right too. Because, well that is what I fought for.

So, no need to feel sorry for me. Save it for the OP and her followers.

Some pretty hyped-up and virulent spews from someone who apparently favors a party who has made an art of lies and deception with full cooperation and coverup by the main stream media. I am not many of the things you have listed above, and I am a proud Republican of just this year (could not take any more of the lies and hate-speak of the democrats). I think maybe you should doublecheck with Jesus on some of His opinions before you so erroneously speak on His behalf.

What The New Republican Party Can't UnderstandOct 30, 2015
I was talking to a Republican this week who, to paraphrase him, said that the Republicans have offered the country what it wants, a woman presidental candidate and one of color.  NO!  That is not what we want. We want candidates who are intelligent and capable. What you've offered us is incompetence and labels. It isn't important to have a woman president unless she knows the issues, as Hillary Clinton does. It most certainly doesn't help to have a person of color unles ...
