US Stocks Move Higher - 3rd Day in a Row

The stock market always does better under a Democratic administration. Very nice. My 401k is loving these last few years after the horrible beating it took due to the Iraq war. Not complaining. Those who lost loved ones lost what was important, of course.

There is no connection to economic reality. Perhaps we will get to the point where the stock market is essentially a roulette wheel controlled by the global elites.

I have always found that a calm, thoughtful approach gets the best results. Falling apart is the opposite of that. Each of us gets to decide whether we want to deal with facts or hysteria. Taking a few deep breaths helps too. I think you'll be fine. Just dial it back a bit and rely more on facts, not hysterics.

I'm betting that's much more likely. They are still big lobbyists and have prevented any meaningful needed regulation occurring, despite the fact they crashed the economy. Gotta love that capitalism in this country means that these crooks are running the country now, right?

I have a 401K for one reason only - to force my nasty MTSO to contribute to my retirement.

Will it go belly up, will it be robbed? Possibly. but at least I am forcing them to contribute to me in some way which involves the most minimum contribution from me.

I can now say I have a 401K and they have to contribute to it and I do NOT pay in one penny more than required to make them pay into it. Not necessarily because I wouldn't want to, but I really don't trust those 401Ks and also I simply do not even have 1 cent to spare. For years I did not participate in the least bit (and glad of that when they first got robbed in the 2008 crisis).

But now I figured what the heck, I will contribute the minimum amount to make the MTSO pay too. It's money I really can't spare, but anything to make the MTSO have to pay, since I can't make them pay me a decent wage, so what the heck.

One way I got my 401k was by making good, solid decisions. When everyone else was hysterical and made bad decisions, I didn't. I recommend that. It works. Your life will be less volatile when you don't go with the wind, wherever the loud angry people are g oing at the moment.

I don't need advice from hysterical people based on innuendos and GOP propaganda. I'm used to using my brain, common sense, and facts to make good, solid decisions. When others acted hysterically and lost all their money, I have not. I will continue to make the best possible decisions based on fact, not hysteria. Life is a lot more pleasant that way too.
