I keep hoping that if all this keeps playing out, Americans will see just how inept this administration is, and vote them out.

Your hoping and cheering makes you *** - Period. nm

And what was the rationale for this peculiar "patriotism" - for the past 4 years? Disgusted. NM

I know you are looking for another reason, but you won't find it here.

I didn't hear cheering - The Sarge

I heard telling it like it is. Disgust for people who got us in this mess.

It is VERY VERY VERY unAmerican of people to say others are unAmerican - see message

First, she wasn't cheering.

Now that that lesson is done, let me explain another lesson to all of you so eager to label others. Nobody here, and I mean NOBODY, has any right here to claim others are unAmerican (or not patriotic or whatever). That is not what I fought for in the service or what other service members are fighting and dying for. EVERY citizen, yes EVERY citizen is American. Because someone does not agree with what Obama is doing does not make them "unAmerican". We fight and die in the service fighting our enemies so that people here in this country CAN voice their opinion without comments like what you write.

It is very unAmerican telling others they are unAmerican or unPatriotic or anything. You don't know her. Nobody here knows anybody, so please lay off gleefully telling others they are unAmerican. This country is supposed to be tolerant of others opinions. We are not supposed to be running around saying someone is not a patriot because they disagree. You love your prez and that's fine. But know that here in this country other people disagree. That's why this is a great country, because we can disagree with something someone does whether they be a republican or democrat.

America is great because it's a place where we have the freedom of expression, the freedom to speak about what we agree and disagree with. If you don't like those freedoms I would suggest you move to one of the countries where you are not allowed to disagree. There are plenty of countries like that, so take your pick. Otherwise, if you don't like that someone disagrees with something wrong, then as Ben Franklin used to say "It is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt". In other words as a liberal here once said "zip it".

How dare anyone call anyone unAmerican or unPatriotic. You do the fine service men and women fighting for those freedoms a disservice.

And guess what - I am disgusted with people who make comments like this.

Lesson over.

The Sarge - Army Strong.

The Sarge - Thank you for your service!

America is safer because of your sacrifice. Heartfelt thanks.

You don't think it is unAmerican and bordering on treason..sm - VTMT

to cheer when our foreign embassies are attacked hoping that it will shed a poor light on our president and our country?
No it's not - The Sarge - sm
[ In Reply To ..]
First as I wrote in my previous note, and as the OP also pointed out, she was not cheering that our foreign embassies were attacked. Anyone who twisted what she said goes to show they don't take the time to read posts. Why do you think you have the right to question anyone's patriotism to this country. You don't know her. For all you know she could be a military person or former military. Just because someone disagrees with the Obama administration and what it has done does not mean they are unAmerican. I'd also be very careful about throwing around the words you just did. It might backfire on you.

I think the actions of this administration will shed light on the president and the country. Whether it's good or bad only time will tell.

But please for the sake of our service members struggles and sacrifices stop calling those you disagree with unAmerican, unPatriotic or the other.
Why do you immediately stoop to insult and namecalling?? - Obama SHOULD be called out re: lack
[ In Reply To ..]
of leadership, lack of foreign policy, lack of domestic policy and lacking in too many ways to post all here.

Obama more intersted in Letterman, Jzy-Z , Byoance, and fundraisers than to meet with BeBe N.

P.S. Save your spin that Bebe N didn't "ask" for a meeting; it's been proven the WH is lying to cover BOs behind. With the ME literally on fire, Obama should have enough intelligence (which BO does not) to go out of his way to meet with BeBe N, anywhere, anytime. Underlines how incompetent BO is on so many levels.

I'm the OP. The only reason I put moniker as (sm) - OP

"cheering" was so whoever wrote that would know who was responding as that's what they called me. It had nothing to do with cheering that there was unrest over there. Hillary just better get things under control, and her boss; like I said, I just want them thrown out of office, both of them, all of them. Thanks, Sarge. (are you really Ex-Army?)

for many many years and proud of it. Gave up my life and family to defend this great nation. All these freedoms people take for granted. They need to be thanking our fine military so they can enjoy them. I'm ashamed there are people here who think they know the patriotism of people they don't know. Plenty of other countries I believe they would be happier in. Then nobody can disagree with their leader.
Hooah! - SK1

I, too, thank you for your service

(And to the OP, I didn't take your "yay" as being directed at the embassy burnings.)

Please read this - sm

Except for your first sentence, I agree 100% with everything else you said. In fact, it was very well put, needed to be said, and I appreciate the fact that you posted it.

Just for some insight into how a reader could take the OP's post as cheering, which I took it as, first is the use of the word "yay." And, with stories in/on the news as well as comments online where folks are actually cheering on events that could be harmful to citizens in this country or the country as a whole yet benefit their cause politically (i.e., the "Shut it Down" crowd a few months back is the first that comes to mind), the "rooting for failure" trend is something that many of us consider dangerous and something that we are seeing way too much of. I'm not trying to justify anyone else's responses here... just trying to offer some insight into why such a harsh response may have been posted.

Also, I can't help but ask why a response like this hasn't been offered to any of the multiple posts where our president is either insinuated to be un-American or just flat out called un-American? You post is actually a very good description of how many feel when the president's citizenship and loyalty to this country is questioned (minus the parts about personally serving in the military if that does not apply and instead acknowledging the service of others).

Please note that I'm not posting this to try and start an argument, and I've really tried very hard to be respectful (and I'm from NY - lol). Thank you for your service.

Your "disgust" (Lib quote)::is misplaced - Direct to Obama and Hill

The Russian response to Barack Obama’s announcement that he was expelling 35 diplomats over the alleged cyber attack on the US election, was fast, and in some cases, rather amusing.
