Survey: Biggest Slimeball President

Posted: Jun 11, 2014

Sad to say that during my lifetime we've had four of the very WORST presidents in the history of the nation.  Who do you think should be enshrined in the SCUMBAG PRESIDENT HALL OF SHAME?

George Dubya Bush. - #2 = Nixon.

How are we judging? - ZvilleMT

Personally or professionally?

All of them have done some good things while in office as far as being president, but I think professionally it would be between Nixon and Obama only because of the damage done while in office. If we're looking at personal lives too, might be a tie between Nixon and Clinton? Nixon definitely had some issues - paranoia, God-complex, etc. and Clinton was just a lying, cheating slimeball.

Historically, though, there has been much worse to reside in the WH - take Andrew Jackson and the Trail of Tears for starters.

Barrack Hussein Obama - n/m

Who said it? - Worst President Ever

"You know, one of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror."

George W. Bush, interview with CBS News' Katie Couric
September 6, 2006

"As far as history goes and all of these quotes about people trying to guess what the history of the Bush administration is going to be, you know, I take great comfort in knowing that they don't know what they are talking about, because history takes a long time for us to reach."

George W. Bush, Fox News

Well of course there is no doubt about that - Obama first - Revised - Forgot Bush was not on the list

Okay, this is a no brainer of course.

1. Obama.
2. Nixon
3. Mr. Impeached.
4. Carter.

Reasons:

1. Well of course Obama is #1. No mistake about that. What he has done has made Nixon look like one of the best presidents of our time. Nixon at least had the decency to resign. I think right now the reasons why he is the worse the count is up to 305 reasons, but the day is young. But putting the safety of the country at risk of danger is the number one reason why without a doubt he heads up #1.

2. Nixon - need I say more. Though he and Mr. Impeached are pretty tied.

3. Mr. Impeached. Was the worst 8 years of my life. Taxed so high, morale so low in many. Children embarrassed to be getting any awards by Mr. Cigar himself.

4. Lastly Carter, but Carter was the last "real" president we had. Then voter fraud went rampant in every election after that and now look what we are stuck with.

Obama, hands down. - nm

Mosquito SurveySep 23, 2014
This year wasn't too bad for mosquitos until we got a bunch of rain recently & now it's a feeding frenzy! I'm allergic to them & steadily developing allergies/reactions to the things that repel them or help one deal with it (like Benadryl). I need to know what states or parts of states don't have this as a serious problem.  I just can't take this anymore! There must be someplace in this country where mosquitos aren't a huge problem. I like where I curre ...

Survey On PillowcasesMar 18, 2015
Recently, I have noticed a lot of case-less bed pillows on TV shows.  I also noticed it at someone's home -- a bed pillow in the living room, no less, and I do not think it was case-less because they were doing the wash.   I am not sure what to make of this.   Do you use pillowcases?  If so, do you do anything special with the open end?   (I fold mine in envelope-style.) Edited to add:  Do you use a pillow protector under the pillowcase?   (I do.)   ...

From Survey: Three New Facts About The Tea PartyAug 25, 2013
There are some very interesting insights here. And we all need to brace ourselves. The arsonists would burn the barn down first--if they could, but the GOP hasn't figured out how to do without their fire. Note that a Rasmussen poll shortly before this April survey found 8% of VOTERS identify themselves as Tea Party (49% of voters disapprove them). You'll notice this study finds half of current Republicans (who make up about 1/3 of the electorate now)"identified with the Tea Party movem ...

Taking A Survey On ObamacareOct 25, 2013
Has anyone tried to sign up for Obamacare or at least checked what their rates would be? If so, are your rates better or worse than what you have now? Were you able to get thru the website and actually get a policy? Have you received a letter stating that you will lose your insurance at the end of the year?  If so, will you shop on your own for insurance or use the Obamacare Marketplace? I've heard so many horror stories about the ACA.  Just trying to get an idea of what is ac ...

Jobs Added, But Who's Getting Them? Survey SaysSep 08, 2015
So, unemployment is supposedly improving but somehow it just doesn't feel like it.  I went to a local strip mall where my Safeway is located yesterday and was sad to see that there were 2 more vacancies just since I'd been there 2 weeks ago, making 6 now.  One was my favorite take-out teriyaki restaurant.  Just gone like smoke in the wind. Well, this might throw some light on things:  Since 12/2007, native-born Americans have had a net LOSS of over 700,000 jobs whi ...

Casey Anthony Trial SurveyJun 06, 2011
Following this trial and listening to commentary there is very little doubt it seems that Casey Anthony murdered her child and disposed of the body. I think a lot of the bias is because she is a pathologic liar.  Aside from the lying can anyone take a leap and think she may not be guilty of murder or that the state is not proving it beyond a reasonable doubt? Does anyone believe she was molested by her father/brother which caused her psychopathic lying? I heard Geraldo Rivera comment ...

Survey Says! Over Half Of All Statements MadeDec 18, 2014
But some already knew that.    I am still confident in my choices, NPR, CNN, and Fareed Zakaria on Sunday morning.   My favorite parts of the article were: 1.  That you could listen to Fox and then flip a coin to determine heads its half-true, tails its a lie. 2.  NPR informed are best informed. 3.  And that people who don't watch any news at all are better informed than Fox viewers.   For example, a PublicMind survey out of Fairleigh Dickinson Un ...

LDB's Biggest FearJul 07, 2011
If you will recall, Ms. Burdick's greatest fear was "common sense being lost."  That's exactly what happened.  I just heard a woman who was protesting outside the courthouse and she summed up what I feel completely.  She said that jurors should be instructed strongly on using common sense, and not just looking for reasonable doubt.  I know this was mentioned during closing arguments, but it went out the window.  I feel this jury failed us.  If common ...

‘Tough S.O.B.’ Harry Reid Faces Biggest Test YetJan 26, 2015
Badly injured, Harry Reid’s political future was left for dead.  It was early 2009, and the Senate Democratic Leader was reeling from the revelation that he praised Barack Obama’s “light skin” and lack of a “Negro dialect.” Polls showed Reid going to the way of his predecessor, Tom Daschle, who lost reelection in 2004, as the Nevadan faced revolt both at home and in Washington, and on both the right and left. Just a third Nevadans said they wou ...

Compensation For The Boards Of Directors Of The Nation’s Biggest Banks Continues To RiseApr 01, 2013
Excerpt from the NY Times: "Some Wall Street insiders also question the need to pay bank directors more than their counterparts at other big corporations, arguing that the increased regulation has actually limited bank boards’ ability to perform important tasks, like raising capital and issuing dividends. Even when it comes to paying senior executives, boards have less leeway because regulators have pressured boards to bring down executive pay. “About the only thing bank directors h ...
