Stay in Alaska.....

Barbara Bush came right out and told Palin to stay in Alaska. I hope she and the party heed her advice. I am crossing my fingers that people will not put her in a position to run. Gah!

Whatever else Sarah Palin is, she helped get that grassroots tea party movement going that woke people up and was partially responsible for the shellacking of the Dems at midterms. She still gets huge crowds when she speaks. I hope she does not run either, but I do think she is a voice for conservatism and common sense so I hope she stays active in that way.

As to Barbara...I hope she stays in Texas. LOL. Not a huge fan of the Bushs'....though there are a few things that I thank George W. did right.

That being said, IMHO the name Bush on a prez ticket would be a kiss of death as bad or worse than Sarah's. Just sayin. ;)

Yes, she did get some momentum going for conservatives in this country, but she just doesn't have what it takes to be a Presidential candidate. She was recently interviewed and said that she could beat Obama if she ran. I'm not really sure that's the case and I hope that isn't the way it falls out.

I do hope she stays active, but IMO she should stay in Alaska and not try to make a move toward D.C. She certainly attracts large crowds, but from what I've seen they are mostly people from the far right wing and don't necessarily represent me as a Republican. Just sayin..... ;-)

I'm not a big fan of B. Bush. But I do have to say I agree with her. I hope she stays in AK and has a happy and long life. IMHO I think SP needs to tone it down a bit. She thinks she could beat PO, and maybe she could, but right now she is the most hated person in America (well to some people). But SP will never win over a black man. I'd like to see her stay active in politics because she is very intelligent and knows what it takes to balance a budget and other political issues. I just don't want her to run. If the republican party has any chance of winning they need to keep her out. I hope keeping her in the spotlight is to get the focus off of who they are really preparing to win.

As so many of us discuss on this board, I have a lot of difficulty staying alert/fully awake when sitting for so long when I'm working. I have high blood pressure and taking metoprolol-ER and Losartan/hydrochlorothiazide daily. I use a bag mix, which turns out fine. Sometimes they stay fluffed up, other times not. I've tried refrigerating the dough and using it cold. Tried making big cookies.
