This is just ONE reported story. Others are starting to surface. So, I suppose some of you who talk about the TEA Party as if they are villians will find some excuse for this behavior? The union rhetoric is encouraging violence against others.... and yes, this reporter was from Fox, but all he was doing was reporting the story when he got punched in the arm. ..... hypocrites!

There is not a single ounce of objective commentary in this video. No surprise there. This IS Fox we are talking about. In the middle of a typical Fox propanganda piece where Geraldo is trying to whup up false allegations against union "thugs," a reporter CLAIMS he was punched in the arm. LOL. Of course, this happened off camera. This so-called rhetoric (a protest slogan) did not encourage violence. It called a spade a spade. Fox News does lie, and this video is a prime example of that. You, of course, bought into the drivel and immediately set out to spread the word, exactly as these manufactured news stories are intended to do. Nice job. BTW, I suggest you go look up the meaning of the word assault.

When the video surfaced during the elections regarding the SEIU thugs kicking the crap out of their own members for not toeing the line, no one reported it EXCEPT Fox because there was no way to spin it...the "kickers" came from behind an SEIU table and were wearing SEIU T-shirts (remember the purple shirt thing). Geez. Either you really can't see the forest for the trees or truth and fairness mean nothing to you. You pick. I am thinking just a seminar poster...the phrase "I suggest you go look up the meaning of assault" really says it all. LOL.

"Toe the line" is an idiomatic expression meaning to conform to a rule or a standard.

Think before you attack.

Seminar posting was the phrase coined for those who take the talking points, no substance just to divert from the real story...and yes, political parties use those. "Seminar" meaning they are schooled about what to post, what points to make, and they all sound basically alike. It is done on all sides of the political spectrum.

When you want to act like you know it all and snipe at others about what they DON'T know...you should be sure that you actually DO know it all. ;-)

How you spell this depends on how you think, what you are trying to say and even what country you are from. If you are British, line up with other runners before sprinting in track-and-field competitions and mean to say conform to a rule or standard, then your spelling would be correct. I never do those things. I also do not think of toe as a verb. Within a political context, I think in terms of carrying or pulling my own weight in order to do my part. Thus, when I say tow the line, that is what I mean. As you can see, either interpretation would be appropriate in this context, so we can agree to disagree on this since both meanings and both spellings are recognized, at least by Kansas University Faculty Resources and Curriculum Services and in the idioms section of the free dictionary(see links 1 and 2).

Now, on that seminar thingy. My first question is coined by whom? Would that be you? I am asking because despite searching high and low, all I can come up with is seminar posting, as in notice of an upcoming seminar. I did check the Urban Dictionary, which tells us that seminar means "impregnated with knowledge." Somehow, I doubt that's what you meant when referring to my posting, since you were in the middle of accusing/attacking me for (according to you) my attack. Still I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt. Could you please cite a source for this talking points/no substance baloney you are hawking? Otherwise, I will just assume you were making that up as you go along, though the concept does seem to be rather apt when describing Fox froth.

Toeing the line is very simple. Line...you put your toe to it. Tow makes absolutely no sense in your context. Bottom line, however, you dressed me down and attempted to make me look less intelligent than yourself (elitist attitude, look that one up) when in fact my statement was as legitimate as yours and rather than do the decent thing, which would be apologize instead of heaping on more condescenion, you chose the latter.
