New to board. Voted for Obama and just watched 2016.

My husband and I were trying to decide what movie to watch last night and we decided since after Obama being reelected, we would watch 2016 for the fun of it. Curious to see what this anti-Obama movie was all about. It was a documentary narrated by a guy from India. The movie had to do with Obama's book and why Obama's book was not titled Dreams of my Father, but Dreams From my Father. Obama's father against anti-colony

What was interesting was what this world would be like by 2016 if Obama was reelected and what his plans would be for our country. I am now quite disturbed, especially about how Obama wants the rich to pay taxes and his reasons for it and how Obama basically wants a free blank check or a credit card with no limit and will raise the federal debt from 16 trillion to over 20 trillion if Obama is reelected. By the way, other countries tried this like China and made it worse. Reasons why Obama is going to cut military and nuclear weapons program. How Obama had a talk with Soviet Union which was much more clear to hear Obama stating how he would have more flexibility when he is reelected. Here is a sample of what Obama was saying, but again, it was much more clear in the movie when Obama spoke to the Soviet Union meeting.

Obama seems to be an angered, troubled individual because of how he was raised. Obama would hear how wonderful his father was by his mother and found out the truth about his father from his half sister that the father was horrible person and a drunk. Obama was raised by a step father who fought with Obama's mom frequently which also explains how Obama refuses to have oil drilling here in the United States since his step-father was one of those oil company owners. Obama's father married so many women that Obama has a lot of half brothers and sisters which was interesting because Obama's dad only came back once to visit Obama when he was around 10-11 years old.

Last thing was who Obama associated himself are horrible friends and some were wanted from the FBI such as Bill Ayres and what about Obama's mentor, surrogate father, Jeremiah Wright?

AND WHAT THE HECK.... OBAMA IS GOING TO CREATE A UNITED STATES OF ISLAM??? I just looked this up of what this means and this is plastered all over Google.

Also the movie explains his thoughts and feelings toward Israel which is disturbing.

I think I just sold the United States out with my vote. Obama is going in full force to finish what his father started and this is NOT GOOD. GOP is gone and whatever they do, they will be blamed for EVERYTHING. Obama states United States is not a Christian Nation anymore. Then we need to get rid of the Thanksgiving Holiday because it makes no sense to have this Holiday for the United States. America is in full swing to change and it definitely will hurt my kids and grandkids. My husband believes other countries will now be stronger than the United States, especially Russia which is why they wanted Obama to win since Obama seems to be on everybody's side in this world except one group, the GOP. Lastly, Obama keeps saying, THE AMERICA PEOPLE WANTED THIS CHANGE COMING and he seriously believes it.

The Pilgrims were very religious and knew that without God, they would not have survived the previous year. They celebrated their harvest bounty in what was to become an annual tradition. They also were grateful for the Native Americans for their kindness and help in learning to survive a new world and shared Thanksgiving together.

Don't feel that you have sold the country out. A lot of people still feel that votes matter. You voted for the person you thought was better. A lot of people did, however, the majority of them are starting to come out saying, what in the world did I do. But when you understand what is really going on and realize he was already selected for the position and even if not one person in the country voted for him he would have still been put in. But taken on a whole with all the voter fraud that was committed it's a no wonder the American people are upset.

It's truly scary times we live in. Do you vote for bad or do you vote for the other bad. My answer is I just don't vote at all. Mr. Nobody is who I voted for because there are a lot of other politician more qualified for the position, understand what is wrong with the country and can fix things, but they will never be voted in. Not when you have the media demonizing them so their stooge can "look good".

For the most part, I learned the game a long time ago. You need to look past whoever gets put into the position. Look at the people behind the scenes and who run the show and what their plans are.

All I'll say is it's pretty scary, but don't feel you sold out the US. The politicians (no matter what party they belong to) sold the country out with the exception of a very few.

I know that this is all happening the way it is "supposed to happen" according to prophecies, but I am so frightened by how quickly it is coming, and so saddened by those who just cannot or will not see it. My secret wish is that the Mayan calendar is correct and it will "all be over" for us believers in just a few more weeks, but unfortunately, I don't think that will happen either. I don't know how you can call it an infomercial - it had some pretty interesting stuff about Obama's upbringing and who influenced him - are you saying those interviewed lied? It was a documentary and it was advertised as such....and of note, in the movie, Obama's entire way of talking changed when he spoke to the black community - no longer did he have the controlled eloquent speech pattern - like a chameleon, he adapted to his situation. If you haven't seen it - I'd suggest watching it. This first 4 years is just Obama readying for his reelection (which hopefully won't happen). I watched this last night on television and it was quite an eye opener. Seeing both Trump and Hillary in their formative years and seeing what makes each of them today - neither one had the start in life that everyone deserves.
