I thought he was very honest in his testimony.  Apparently most of Congress does too.

A quote from Rubio:

"I was, quite frankly, impressed by his honesty," Rubio told reporters. "That's the first time I've ever seen a witness come before Congress and admit they leaked something through an intermediary to get it to the press."

Like most lawmakers, Rubio does not doubt that Comey felt pressured by the president.

"Whether it rises to criminality, I think there's significant doubts about whether it rises to that level," he said.

Everyone has an opinion and mine is Comey - is a vindictive coward.

He says: "I took it as, this is what he wants me to do," Comey said on Thursday, referring to his claim that Mr. Trump pressured him to drop the investigation into Michael Flynn's ties with Russia."

But he did not do it, instead weasel allegedly took notes and only released them to FAKE NEWS (per Comey when he said NYT published story on Trump's associates in collustion with Russia that was a LIE) and only AFTER he was FIRED. That is not the FBI protocol. What he released was work-related documents allegedly created on a work computer while working for FBI.

On the other hand Loretta Lynch ORDERED Comey to call the criminal investigation on Hillary Clinton a "MATTER" (not an investigation) which Comey did do. Sounds like Comey is not independent but political leaning left.

Comey did clear Trump as far as being under investigation by FBI but I believe he knew he had to tell the truth because there were others in FBI who knew this was true.

Another thing that was totally WEIRD is Comey said he did not know how to react to Flynn request. That's coming from the head of the FBI. He also called himself a coward. That's coming from the head of the FBI. A self-admitted COWARD runs the FBI? Shouldn't he have resigned?

Comey has also not produced the alleged memos as of today that were requested by the committee.

I call him "Queasy Comey." What a puss. - nm

Queasy coward Comey. What an azz wipe - excuse maker. Lordy, the head of the FBI?

[ In Reply To ..]
What has our country come to if thie jerk headed the FBI? The more I hear, the more justified Trump was to fire him. Pretty sure Trump knew about this Comey cowardliness before Comey testified Thursday.

Who wants a queasy coward to head up the FBI?
Truly pitiful, isn't it? - He wishes he were stronger. Jeez.

when faced with a situation that calls for standing up for your principles? Why is that a negative and a laughing matter? Comey's testimony came across to most reasonable people as honest and authentic.
Not an appropriate response from the head of the FBI - Obviously we expect more from people in that posit

Weak weasels like Comey should not be heading up the FBI and be a role model for other FBI agemts.

FBI director who is not strong, educated and in control at all times should not be directing anything. He should resign if he has HUGE shortcomings such as cowardliness.

Weasel FBI director Comey caved to Loretta Lynch demands and called a criminal investigation a "matter" colluding with Lynch to protect what was really going on with Clinton. That was a lack of integrity and a political move he caved to. How much strength would it take for Comey to say NO to Lynch because it is inappropriate and misleading.

Dude is forever a slimeball with extremely poor judgement. From the HUGE bags under his eyes I think he knows this.
Comey "came across to most reasonable people" - for the lying, self-serving coward he is.
[ In Reply To ..]
Most reasonable people were able to recognize his lying vindictive, self-serving testimony for what it was. Again, that IS MOST REASONABLE PEOPLE.

I too thought he was being honest. I liked watching the hearings. The problem is, people still wont go after the "real" criminals in WA, only the ones they don't like.

The weirdest thing that stuck out to me - was when Trump

[ In Reply To ..]
brought up that he had never had anything to do with Russian hookers. I found that strange because he had no reason to bring that up again out of the blue to insist again that he had not done that. He had months ago, before inauguration, said it was ridiculous when that dossier came out and since then that dossier has pretty much been a joke. Yet, he brings that up when talking to Comey. I don't really care if there are hookers in his past, Russian or otherwise, but I just found it strange to dredge that up again.

As far as Comey, I felt he was telling the truth. I know that the rationale of the Republicans is that Trump is new to all of this, which is bunk, but I think he knew exactly what he was doing and did do it. It will be interesting to see if anything unfolds with Mueller's investigation. I just hope if anything is going to happen it is before our country is too far gone to be pulled back over the edge.

protecting him will not hold up in a court of law. If that were so everyone would get out of everything by saying I didn't know. No way. Again, the man is a pathologic liar.

I liked him.... - anon

Strange Things Happening Today, Got A Haint At My House I GuessNov 28, 2009
Have a patio at the back of my house, had leaves all over it on Thanksgiving Day. Got up this morning and all the leaves in a neat little pile on the patio. Asked DH if he had swept those all up and he said nope, said probably the wind blowing had done but if that were so, why did not all the leaves in the yard blow into neat little piles? Also having breakfast close to sunroom. All the blinds closed and noticed a white spot that was the breakfast wall, next to sunroom. As I mentioned to DH, th ...

One Of These Things Is Not Like The OtherOct 04, 2016
The dedicated Trumpettes are rationalizing Trump's tax evasion by saying Clinton used the same loophole to avoid paying tax. In fact, I have used the same loophole when I was an independent contractor. Now here is why it is not the same. Trumps tax loss claimed is over 1 THOUSAND 3 HUNDRED TIMES (1300 times) Clinton's tax loss. In other words, Clinton claimed 0.07% of Trumps loss. Trump paid NO taxes and probably did not for 18 years. In contrast the Clinton's pai ...

How The Dems Do ThingsSep 06, 2012
1.  The entire DNC is being subsidized with a $10 million line of credit from Duke Energy. 2.  The CEO of Duke Energy is one of Obama's biggest contributors - $tens of thousands. 3.  Duke Energy has received over $200 million in stimulus money for "green jobs". So, while Elizabeth Warren was standing up on the podium whining about a "rigged economy", she was speaking over a microphone that was paid for with "rigging" of the first order. Seeing Things On TV That I Am Thinking What?Jan 08, 2013
I saw 3 different things this morning that I am puzzled. First, people having baby ultrasounds in their homes inviting all the family for an ultrasound party to let them be the first (along with the couple) to view the baby. People doing the ultrasounds do tell the gender of the baby and that again is not 100% sure each time, even for people who routinely do ultrasound in medical settings. The people doing not medical, say no diagnosis of any kind made but as we all know not every pregnancy is a ...

In Chappaqua NY, the snow lay deep around the Clinton mansion, but that didn't stop Bill from taking a stroll around the grounds. Suddenly, he stopped dead in his tracks.  The Secret Service agent who was with him asked, "What is it, Mr. President?" Clinton's face was growing beet-red as he pointed a shaking finger at the ground.  There, written in the snow in an unmistakable shade of yellow, were the words "Bill Clinton is a dirty pedophile." Clinton demanded that the per ...

This Reminds Me Of A Lot Of Things On HereJan 17, 2016
As it happens, in recent weeks I was the target of a trolling campaign and saw exactly how it works. It started when an obscure website published a post titled “CNN host Fareed Zakaria calls for jihad rape of white women.” The story claimed that in my “private blog” I had urged the use of American women as “sex slaves” to depopulate the white race. The post further claimed that on my Twitter account, I had written the following line: “Every death of a white person brings tears of j ...

Things That Bring Americans TogetherMay 08, 2011

11 Things The GOP Doesn't Want You To Know About The Deficit...smSep 08, 2012
1.  The deficit has grown mostly because of the recession. (The deficit has ballooned not because of specific spending measures, but because of the recession.  The deficit more than doubled between 2008 and 2009 as the economy was in free fall and laid-off workers paid less in taxes and needed more benefits.  The deficit then shrank in 2010 and 2011.) 2.  The stimulus cost much less than Bush's wars and tax cuts.  (Republicans frequently have blamed the $787 billio ...
