Civility

Posted: Nov 7, 2012

The election is now over - some of you are happy with the choice, some of you are not.  Let's please try to remember that this is an opinion board and while you may not agree with each others opinions, there's just no need for name calling (insinuating or otherwise), profanity, harrassment, mocking, or personal attacks.  We're all adults here and can discuss issues without being snide - there is no prize for having the snarkiest comeback.  We all talk about how this country is being divided and it's talk like that that only serves to make it worse.

Just please show some respect for each other and the fact that we all don't think alike.

I've stayed away from the board since this happened specifically for that reason. Just hate to post something to be cut down or ridiculed.

Hopefully we'll be back to talking/arguing about issues.

And therein is my point - Moderator

I would hope that no one would be afraid to speak their minds here - sometimes great ideas come out of discussions between those that are not like-minded.

In addition to attempting to find the most insignificant “dirt” on anyone with an R after their name, they are attempting to intimidate and ridicule other posters on this board. Indivisible has become Alinsky on steroids. Well, let me tell you, I am not intimidated. However, I am leaving t ...

MOVEON.ORG NEEDS TO LOOK UP CIVILITYMar 13, 2016
Move-on.org needs to learn civility.  I hope that those in this organization today at the Trump rally will allow civility because it is a crime to show harm to those at these rallies.  Wake up people.  ...

Democratic Debate Showed Civility.Oct 14, 2015
I keep wishing the US would get back to civility without the bullying.  It was nice to see the Democrats discuss the issues without the insulting and bad language  that is the norm for the Republicans.     Nice NOT to see Trump whining about moderator being unfair and  insulting everyone and quoting polls.   ...
