The pendulum is swinging back to the right, and the republicans are going back into power. They know now they can be openly corrupt and we don't mind. What do you think is going to happen? You guessed, more corruption, and this time they can take us even further down the path of ruin because we just can't fathom why keeping the rich ferengis happy.
Well, ok, but guess why the pendulum is swinging? - b/c the dems are even MORE corrupt, and we see it.

Democrats and republicans are all the same. They are actors on a stage, manipulating public opinion, much like TV wrestling programs. By keeping up these shenanigans and deceiving the public with it, they keep public in check, keep us under their thumb, and keep the rich richer and the middle class poorer. Really, it is rich versus the middle class, not right versus left or democrat versus republican. Obama is no worse than Bush and Bush no worse than Obama. They are fulfilling a role given to them by the people that really call the shots, the international bankers. Rockefeller admitted to this recently because there is nothing anyone can do about it now. He said he was proud of it.

its an impossible task. There is NOTHING successful so far about the current administration. This president is so clueless and out of touch, and America is finally waking up. The Community Organizer should have stayed in Chicago with all his cronies and crook friends.
1st of all, this entire thread has nothing to do - with the current administation, although
[ In Reply To ..]
it is apparent that when caught with their pants down, unable to back up bogus claims of death threats, it instantly becomes impossible to stay on task and the cons gang up and try their best to make it about Obama, as they predictably do when called upon to deal with facts instead of emotion. Dems are often accused of wearing their feelings on their sleeves, but cons are the ones who run around these days visibly SEETHING with hatred of all things Obama and, by extension, all things democratic party.

Second, I am not the one who initiated the insults. I simply pointed out the missing links, expressed doubt and challenged the conservative blogosphere's trying to conflate an internal dispute between staffer and boss (Carnahan) that resulted in arson into yet another bogus claim of dem political violence, when the cons tried to throw that into the mix in their haste to deflect attention from the missing links and original bogus claim (is there a pattern emerging here, or what?). Third, I have continuously tried to have a real argument by steering them back to the original problem with the missing links and each time I did, the personal insult(s) rhetoric escalated to its most recent level of sadistic, narcissistic bully. No place in this thread can you find any con trying to address the actual subject at hand

For emphasis, I am going to repeat myself AGAIN here. Give me a respectful, informed argument with strong, even passionate differences of opinion aimed at viable exchange of information and argument building and that is what you will get in return from me. Give me insult, after insult, after insult and guess what? I can go there too, though I would much prefer not to, and always will when the situation arises, just to show how very ineffective that tired, worn-out, predictable, BORING tactic really is. It does nothing to advance political agendas and will never succeed in covering up the weakness and lameness of the original faulty stance, in this case the bogus, unprovable, insistent and presistent claims of dem violence against DreamWorks and Russ Carnahan.

A real argument generally contains an arsenal of facts and a healthy dose of logic, not these clownish and impotent propaganda-laced conservative con games. I think it is important to showcase these fairly universal con campaign tactics whenever and wherever possible. Voters are not looking for more conservative con games and cat fights. They want solutions to critical issues the just-say-no gang continue to turn their backs on. September is just on the horizon and so far, we have heard ZILCH from them in terms of alternate goals, plans and solutions, except for an occasional nostalgic and wistful over-the-shoulder glance aimed at the utterly failed and powerfully destructive 8 years of W policy and GOP spending on steroids that will literally take decades from which to recover.

Perhaps you are the one who needs to become a bit more familiar with what is meant by a REAL argument, ya think? BTW, Before you can get to a real argument, you must be able to identify a real issue.

[ In Reply To ..]
My experience taught me that once you pass puberty, you realize that the older you get, the LESS you know. Not to worry. You'll get there. Puberty lasts longer for some than others.

The wisdom embeds itself in hindsight, which some folks unfortunately never learn how to use, and the pubescent among us have not racked up enough of it to be of benefit. Then again, a lot of adults waste decades naval gazing and never do break loose from the paralysis of all that myopic self-absorption.

Republican Family Values At Their Finest!! HowApr 08, 2014
and how hypocritical, par for the course for the holier-than-thou party. The Danger Of Romney's Empty Core ValuesMay 03, 2012
