What a stinkin' shame that people can't control themselves without resorting to unrest or threats of unrest. Whatever the decision, I hope the GJ was not intimidated by public opinion. I will accept their decision either way and I wish everyone else would, too!

If they just lie down and take it, then who knows... - their own kids might get shot next.

Ferguson MissouriNov 26, 2014
I am hoping that there will be PEACEFUL protests if some don't agree with the grand jury's decision concerning the Michael Brown case.  This evening protestors are not too far from my home and the constant whirring of helicopters makes it hard for me to concentrate on my work.  It is definitely a fact that no man is an island and one man's actions can reverberate across the country and the world and affect people who had absolutely NOTHING to do with what happened that ...

BLM Has Officially Cost University Of MissouriAug 25, 2016
The University of Missouri’s (MU) flagship Columbia campus has officially lost a staggering 23 percent of its freshman class this year, an even worse figure than administrators initially predicted in the wake of major racial strife. The big enrollment drop at MU has been brewing for months, but finally became a reality this week with the start of fall term on campus. MU’s freshman class this year has some 4,799 students, a drop of over 1,400 from last year, when freshmen numbered 6,211. ...

Ferguson Missouri - Michael BrownAug 14, 2014
The Ferguson police department must be stopped.  They are making the situation worse.  Why haven't they investigated the Michael Brown shooting?  Why haven't they released any information?  Why haven't they interviewed the witnesses?  Why did they leave the body in the street for so long?  Why did the Mayor take over 2 days to address the family.   It seems by their silence that they are condoning repeatedly shooting that man.    Ther ...

Chief Jackson - Ferguson, MissouriSep 25, 2014
Maybe an effort to distance himself from the "bad" cops.  Maybe helps Ferguson in their civil rights law suit.  And, IMO, (and only my opinion) they might just indict Darren Wilson after all.  Frankly, if there is any culpability at all, it makes sense to save the city and hang Wilson out, guilty or not.  Personally, I think he is guilty, but that really doesn't matter.   http://preview.msn.com/en-us/video/news/ferguson-police-chief-apologizes/vi-BB5J85K ...

Missouri, A State That Didn't Take The MedicaidJun 22, 2017

Clown At Missouri State Fair Permanently Banned ForAug 13, 2013
on both sides at all levels condemning and apologizing for disgusting conduct at a public event. What fascinates me is how he could be so dsconnected from common culture that he wouldn't realize this behavior would ruin his career. This ban is only the first of many on the rodeo circuit. Some in the crowd did cheer him as he ran around in an Obama mask with a broomstick attached to his rear.   "Hey, I know I'm a clown. He just running around acting like one, doesn't ...

Ferguson, Missouri, Braces For Grand Jury Decision, New ProtestsNov 10, 2014
"Tensions were building in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, on Monday as the community girded for a decision by a grand jury over whether to indict the white police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black teen in August. The shooting sparked weeks of unrest and ongoing demonstrations, and some groups have threatened widespread protests if Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson is not charged with a crime in the death of Michael Brown, 18." Missouri State Senator Chappelle-Nadal: “I Hope Trump Is Assassinated!” Aug 18, 2017
Nice....doesn't she realize that that one sentence can incite more nutcases? She excuses the remark by saying she was frustrated. Well, lady, there are a lot of people that are frustrated but they don't hope the president is assassinated. Her resignation is in order.________________________________With five written words Thursday morning, one of Missouri’s most controversial state lawmakers spawned a U.S. Secret Service investigation, potentially endangered her own political care ...

Meet Maine's New GovernorMar 16, 2014
I received this in an email. I think we'll be hearing more from him... Meet Maine 's New Governor --- In case you haven't heard about this guy before, his name will stick in your mind! The new Maine Governor, Paul LePage is making New Jersey 's Chris Christie look timid. He isn't afraid to say what he thinks. Which Republican Governor Is The Worst?Aug 26, 2014
I nominate Scott Walker from Wisconsin. Recent breaking news -- Scott Walker's administration agreed to give a $6 million tax break to a corporation that may lay off nearly 2,000 Wisconsin workers. And less than a month later, the owners of that corporation gave Walker's campaign $20,000. But then there is Bob McDonnell from Virginia, Christie from New Jersey, Perry from Texas, Palin from Alaska. Yes, I realize some of these are not current governors, but it is hard to keep up. ...

Governor Mike Pence Is Either Very DumbMar 30, 2015
He refuses to state whether or not his idiotic "religious freedom law" will allow people to discriminate against gays. Of course it will. Good for all the businesses and athletes who are boycotting this law and the state. I am really getting sick of this being the "I Hate Obama" board, "no, I hate him more," "no, I REALLY hate him." If you think that's politics, it's not. It's just boring. So, anyone, what think you about this situation of governors approving laws that make it ...

We Have A New Republican Governor Who Is Trying To Pass A Bill To Do Away With All RulesMar 10, 2011
The new governor is trying to pass bills which allow the governor to appoint all directors of all agencies and get rid of them at will. Also, the governor wants to get rid of all "rules" that any agency or committee has established unless the governor decides that those rules should exist. The country is finally waking up to the fact that we have a bunch of bullies who got themselves elected by saying the right things, but are turning into something else entirely. Nobody likes bullies. This is ...

Good Doings In Ohio: GOP Governor Kasich Accepted TheOct 23, 2013
of course, are outraged, but very conservative Mr. Kasich, who used an "administrative maneuver" to accomplish this, says it's a matter of both Christian compassion, as well as "cool economic practicality." Seemingly Mr. Kasich does not plan to run for President in 2014. :) This will be very big for some Ohioans, and irrelevant for others of course. Hopefully those interested will consider finding out what their new premium and coverages would be either in in person or by phone... ...
