Impeachment? I think it is because the topic is too "hot." The Republicans are saying things like this is a circus and a sham and we just don't like him. I say it is the Democrats duty to bring the president to task for abusing his office, violating the constitution, obstructing Congress and obstructing justice. If it is not done now, then he will continue to feel free to act like a king or a dictator. The framers created impeachment to guard against exactly this sort of thing happening. Whether they win or lose in a Senate trial, a firm message has been given that he needs to clean up his act and to start playing by the rules (of the Constitution).
