That is collusion, even if Trump supposedly was not aware of them (yeah right, he's not smart, but he is not THAT dumb).
I know you all want to protect him at all costs, and that is what he wants you to do, but there is no way he was not aware of all these actions on his behalf.
Did you know that Paul Manafort changed the Republican platform right before the convention in 2016 so it would be pro Russia's takeover of Ukraine? Repubs are usually hard line against anything Putin, but this was allowed somehow.
Again, was poor little Trump too inexperienced and innocent to be aware of this? Well, he must have given Manafort et al carte blanche to do this. What was that about? Collusion with a Russian operative, that was what. Putin was installing his candidate and wanted all his wishes tied up in a nice little package when he won.
Unfortunately for Putin, the idea of reversing the sanctions right away made even Republicans balk and they firmed up the sanctions and passed more.
Putin has, however, gotten Trump to do his bidding on weakening NATO, and his obvious influence over Trump and the US election and subsequent attempts at meddling all over the world have emboldened right wing candidates in Europe especially.
Mark my words, if this White House debacle happens, Trump is going to announce the lifting of sanctions, despite the fact that's not what anyone wants, even Republicans.
It's pretty obvious (by Trump's behavior at the disastrous Helsinki summit alone) that Putin has threatened him to do that or else. I hope Mueller finds out more about the what else in his investigation, but at the very least Republican representatives should NOT be on board with this meeting.
