How on earth is Russia any true enemy or threat to the USA now except for the cyberwarfare and spying, which it would make sense if Trump condemned, but he only denies and negates anyway?
Now, Trump, on the other hand, Russia is obviously a threat to for reasons we cannot know - yet.
I can almost think Putin ordered this meeting when it is because he is threatening if he doesn't get his way to announce exactly how he helped Trump get in. That should make the midterms fun.
This is why nothing is forthcoming about what happened during his one on one meeting with Putin in Helsinki. If it comes out that he's being pushed to lift the sanctions and give Putin whatever he wants, he doesn't want the media to come to the obvious conclusions about his indebtedness to Russia.
