I'm not joking. (Okay, the subtitle is a joke but the rest is serious.)
I find it amazing that you went from $60k to $18k and you're still an MT. There are probably a lot of people who would like to your know your secrets of survival. Not for MTs only. Lots of jobs can be phased out in the future.
Since you're an MT, you wouldn't have to pay an editor (hopefully) to clean up grammar errors and inconsistencies. You definitely could type it yourself (I hope). You could probably self-publish on Amazon. (Or not, depending on how you feel about non-MT corporate slave owners.) I'm sure there are less corporate places that would help you self publish, but you might not make as much money or get the desired amount of exposure.
