Does Trump believe Putin? You don't know unless you can read minds. Based on his statement I would say that he does believe "president Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today." But that's really all you can say, Trump has confidence in his intelligence agencies and he believes Putin gave a strong and powerful denial.
