Let me preface my response by first putting it out there that I am a diehard moderate Democrat and not a fan of Donald Trump at all. However, I wanted to listen to a playback of the summit meeting in order to make up my own mind about how the meeting went.
After reading a lot of the pieces in the news media, I expected a free-for-all temper tantrum from our POTUS. However, I saw and heard nothing of the sort. Donald Trump may not have said what I wanted to hear, but he did not, by any stretch of the imagination, commit any of the treasonous responses to the reporters' questions of which he has been accused. He was for the most part appropriate, even if he did exaggerate some things (as he is wont to do) and did make some points that I would consider to be erroneous. I do not agree with his responses yesterday, but I also do not agree with the MSM response as a whole from yesterday's summit.
Lastly, people, stand up for your own right to read and listen and learn and make your own decisions. Don't just take the easy way out, the lazy way out, and listen to others. Take the time to do your own research and make up your own mind. You'll feel a whole lot better about yourself and maybe have a little bit of hope about our future as US citizens.
