There are very good reasons to be friends with Putin.
1. We can get their cooperation in the fight against terrorism. They helped us ID the Boston Marathon bombers.
2. We need their help (and China's) to ensure that North Korea gives up their nukes.
These are two things the US and Russia agree on. Why wouldn't we work together to accomplish these things?
