So to claim they could file in Mexico, well many come from other places, go to the ports of entry to file, then nobody is there or they are turned away. This is by design.

I have to think also that many feel that where they come from puts their children in worse danger than their chances of coming to the US. Children are being kidnapped from school and made to become soldiers, wouldn't you take a chance rather than that?
