I can't speak to what other democrats want. I want what most people want. We probably read different news feeds, each reading ones that speak to us. I personally feel that those crossing the border without papers should be interviewed and, as best as possible, determined whether real asylum seekers. Should everyone crossing the borders be allowed in, no holds barred? No, I don't think our economy can afford it. And, I've seen what is happening in the EU. It's not working there as a majority. Do I think children should be separated from parents/guardians? No. Either send the family back intact, allow them to enter intact, or keep them in detention areas intact. You know, I didn't realize a "liberal" was synonymous with democrat. There's a lot of gray area there, just like levels of republicans....and then there are anarchists, who just hate everyone.
